Our ambitious photo-project group Ash Frozen in Time  has just begun its marathon task. We wish them well as they try to build a colourful and comprehensive portrait of village life to unveil early in 2015.
The group was formed at an initial meeting on October 9, when members spent the evening deciding who  - and what - to photograph: and when!
This intrepid band of snappers and information collectors will soon be out and about among you. So please smile for them!!
Their goal is to compile a unique 'snapshot in time' of Ash, 100 years after the start of the First World War. They plan to snap and caption all aspects of parish life through the changing seasons - and chronicle the activities of the village clubs and organisations.
We hope to showcase some of the photos, on this site and our flickr photostream (see link on right) from the end of April onwards.
